About Us

Welcome to Livy Lou Labradoodles. We are a small scale, family run, ethical breeder of medium and miniature Australian Labradoodles located on the Gold Coast, Australia. We are proud members of, and registered provisional breeders with the Australian Labradoodle Association.

Our passion for Australian Labradoodles began when we welcomed the first into our family. We fell in love with her gentle and calm nature, intelligence and playful spirit. Apart from their amazing temperament, the other reason we chose an Australian Labradoodle is because of their hypoallergenic, non-shedding luxuriously soft coat. This makes them an excellent choice for families with allergies, or anyone who prefers a cleaner low maintenance home.

Under the mentorship, guidance and governance of the Australian Labradoodle Association, we are very excited to embark on our own journey to share the joy of owning an Australian Labradoodle with families like yours.

At Livy Lou Labradoodles we are totally committed to raising happy, healthy puppies in a loving home environment. We believe in ethical breeding practices and prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs and puppies. All of our breeding dogs undergo very thorough health testing which meet the strict guidelines of the Australian Labradoodle Association. Each of our puppies are raised in our family home, receiving a high level of care, attention, socialisation and early training to ensure they are well-adjusted and ready for their forever homes.

We are excited to be part of your journey in finding the perfect furry companion, and look forward to helping you welcome an Australian Labradoodle puppy into your home!

Feel free to contact us anytime with questions or to learn more about our upcoming litters. Thank you for considering Livy Lou Labradoodles.

Frequently Asked Questions

The first step is to get in touch with us for an initial chat, and we can talk you through whether an Australian Labradoodle best suits your family and answer any questions you might have. It is important to us that you have enough information to help you make this big decision and commitment to ensure that the puppy will have a forever home with you. After we have discussed the process with you and you feel you would like to commit to purchasing a puppy, it’s time to fill out our puppy application form which we will send you. This allows us to gather information about your contact details, the lifestyle you lead and your puppy preferences.

Once your application form has been reviewed and accepted, we will send you an email to confirm your placement on our waitlist. To secure this spot, we require a $500 reservation fee, for which you will be sent an invoice. This will be deducted from the total cost of your puppy once it has been allocated. This reservation fee, along with the puppy application, ensures that we communicate with individuals and families genuinely ready to adopt one of our puppies. We will also inform you of your waitlist number at this stage. In the event of a litter of eight, the first eight on the waitlist will receive priority. If the litter is smaller, the first four (or respective number) will have preference. If we are unable to offer you a puppy from this litter of puppies, the reservation fee will be refunded or you could choose to have it transferred to be on the waitlist for the next litter of puppies.

Waitlisted families that have paid their reservation fee will be given access to our live Puppy Camera via an App, which we aim to have live for at least a few hours everyday on them in their whelping box and puppy pen. This way, you feel involved in their journey on a daily basis, from birth to handover day!

From 6 weeks old after their vet checks and first vaccinations, you will be given the opportunity to meet the puppies in person at our home. After the initial visit, we will begin to allocate our precious puppies to their families. This is a thorough and careful process that we do in collaboration with you. We take into consideration many factors when choosing which puppy is suitable for your home. For instance, we consider the temperament, activity level of the pup, and of course, your preference as a buyer. We get to know each of our puppies intimately from birth. With regular handling and observation of litter dynamics and puppy temperament, we gain valuable insights into their unique personalities and tendencies. When it comes time to allocate your puppy, we’ll have all the information we need, paired with your puppy application, to make the best possible match for you and your family.

Once your puppy has been allocated to you and you have confirmed that you are happy with this puppy, we ask that the remaining amount owing for your puppy be paid in full.

The puppies are ready to go to their new families from 8 weeks of age, although we also love to have our puppies stay with us a bit longer until 9 - 10 weeks so that we can work further on their early training and socialisation. Handover will be arranged at a mutually agreed upon day and time from our home on the Gold Coast.

Prior to handover day, you will be provided with a contract of sale which includes the health guarantee agreement and a strict de-sexing contract which will be managed by SpaySecure, which stipulates that you must provide evidence that your puppy has been desexed prior to 12 months of age.

The full purchase price of our puppies is $3750. Our puppies come from top quality Australian Labradoodle bloodlines. All of our breeding dogs have been fully DNA health tested and fully cleared against all hereditary genetic disorders. They have had their hips and elbow's X-rayed and evaluated and scored to ensure that there is no risk of hip dysplasia. They come with a 2 year health guarantee against any genetic disorders.

Your puppy will receive the best care possible…from their living environment and their play space, to the food they eat, we spare no expense in ensuring your puppy is healthy, happy and well socialised.

Your healthy vet checked, microchipped and vaccinated puppy. At 6 weeks old our puppies are taken to the vet for a comprehensive health check. At the same time they are microchipped and will be given their first vaccination. You will need to take them for their second and third vaccination at 10 & 16 weeks. We also worm your puppy every 2 weeks until just before they go home with you.

Registration and pedigree certificate with the ALA (Australian Labradoodle Association). We are a proud member and approved provisional breeder with the Australian Labradoodle Association. Your puppy will be registered with the ALA and you will receive a certificate of registration and a certificate of pedigree.

Puppy pack. Our generous puppy packs included in the purchase price include most of what you need for your pup. We include the crate that they will be used to sleeping in, a weeks supply of the best food available on the market that they have been used to eating, a puppy collar and lead, a blanket or towel with their mother and litter mates scent, a Kong toy, a packet of healthy treats, the next dose of their worming medication for you to give them at week 10, and a folder packed full of information, puppy care instructions and training advise.

Early Neurological Stimulation, Socialisation, Crate and Toilet Training

In their first few weeks of your puppies life, we routinely perform a series of gentle exercises known as ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), which are designed to help develop their senses and resilience.

Your puppy is raised in our family home, around our children and other pets. They are given so much affection and care from our little family.

They will be accustomed to all normal household noises such as vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers.

We start toilet training with your puppy at an early age to get them used to going to the toilet on the grass. Once they move out of the whelping box into their bigger puppy pen, they will always have access to the grass for toileting.

When your puppy is 7 weeks old we start with crate training for sleep time. They will be used to sleeping in the crate that we will give you by the time they go home with you.

We take our puppies for regular outings from around 6 weeks old in our puppy pram. This allows them to safely socialise and get used to seeing and smelling other people, animals and different environments.

2 year health guarantee against any genetic disorders. The DNA profiling and health screening of our breeding dogs helps assure you of the genetic health of your new Livy Lou Labradoodle puppy. This testing enables us to offer a 2 year health guarantee against all life inhibiting genetic defects.
